This sign is posted across a T configured intersection after crossing a bridge over the Androscoggin River. The traffic pattern represents simple challenges that work only when everyone cooperates. The traffic crossing the bridge has the right of way for both left & right turns. The traffic from the right has the only stop sign. Traffic approaching from the left has the right of way when turning right only. IF they want to proceed straight, they must yield to traffic turning left off of the bridge. I nearly got T-Boned here by one driver who failed to recognize this simple distinction.
The path from the past is not always the straight path to the future.
Sometimes, a change of direction is required.
