How to be

  
And not to be. 

Be, per OED: to exist, to be present. This is your existentialism

A philosophical theory or approach which emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent determining their own development through acts of the will.

My point today is To Be Helpful, Not Hurtful while staying focused on the greater good. 

To be hurtful is to be hateful. When one feels either hurt or hated, the human response is both primal & visceral. This evokes the Siber toothed tiger stress/survival  response – fight, flight or freeze. 

For the sake of humanity, we must choose to be helpful.  This act alone elevates, provides solace to the uncertain, erases the twin fears of being left behind, alone, & failure.
